Work Plan
The CuantaIA work plan for 2022-2023 outlines a three-phases strategy to position itself as a global leader in data-driven artificial intelligence (AI):
Phase 1 (2022-2025)
The focus in this phase is on strengthening research capacity in Colombia. This involves consolidating the team, developing AI models applied to national challenges, and launching the CuantaIA platform. The key areas include public safety, public health, public procurement, mobility, climate change, and poverty, ensuring solutions are tailored to the local context with a direct impact on society.
Phase 2 (2026-2027)
Seeking to expand CuantaIA’s influence across Latin America, this phase aims to adapt and replicate the models developed in Colombia to address regional challenges. It focuses on fostering collaboration between countries and promoting data and technology interoperability. Additionally, the goal is to secure international funding and strengthen research networks in the region.
Phase 2 (2026-2027)
CuantaIA envisions itself as a global player. This stage involves the internationalization of the platform, integration of advanced technologies, and active participation in addressing global challenges. The focus will be on attracting international talent, increasing the number of PhD researchers, and disseminating results in high-visibility academic spaces.
